Atlas Orthogonal Adjustments
Have you recently been in a car accident, had a work injury, a sports injury or been dealing with chronic pain? Our chiropractic team specializes in gentle adjustments that realign your spine. Atlas Orthogonal adjustments are specifically for the C1 vertebrae (the first cervical spine bone in your neck).
Impulse Instrument Adjustment Technique
Our chiropractic team uses impulse adjustments to deliver a gentle and precise adjustment of the spine and extremities. This type of adjustment helps relieve pain and restore function to the area that is causing you pain.
Ultrasound provides deep heat to the soft tissues of the body and helps the body heal by increasing circulation to the muscles, tendons, joints and ligaments.
Electrical Stimulation (E-stim)
This medical device elicits muscle contraction using electrical impulses. Electrodes are placed on the injured or painful area and an electric current is sent from the machine to the electrodes causing the muscles to contract and relax, which increases circulation and reduces inflammation and waste products in the soft tissue.
Cold laser therapy is a low-intensity level of light that is applied to the different painful areas of the body to promote regeneration of new cells and rapid damage cells.
Traction is a technique used to provide relief from neck pain and radiating pain coming from the neck causing numbness or tingling in the arms or legs. The traction device lowers the compressive force in the neck and takes pressure off of injured discs.
Lumbar Spine Decompression
The lumbar spine or lower back decompression device helps stretch out the spine and take pressure off of discs. When a disc injury occurs there can be a lot of muscle spams and riding pain down the legs and the technique can help calm down and alleviate some of that pain.
Kinesio taping is a rehabilitation technique that is designed to aid in the body’s natural healing process. The tape helps provide support and stability of the muscles and joint without restricting range of motion.
